Concept Artist/Themed Entertainment Designer (2019-current)

  • Served as key illustrator to create renderings of storyboards, props (to be used by actors and play a critical role in the storyline.) as well as show set design.
  • Participated on  and organized creative team to visualize and illustrate visual style taken from various Vietnamese cultural elements to incorporate into a multimillion dollar nighttime spectacular.
  • Communicated with various clients including Jim Henson Creature Shop and to visualize creative components of the show including large scale puppetry and props.

United Airlines

Illustrator (2019)

  • Submitted locally relevant artwork to a national campaign “Her Art Here” and won grand prize to have artwork displayed on exterior of a United Airlines Boeing 757 operating aircraft.
  • Created artwork to represent landmarks and iconic elements from New York and New Jersey.
  • Used social media to encourage general population to vote on their favorite submission.
  • The Boeing 757 will be in service for 2 years traveling over 1.6 million miles and making over 476 trips a year.

Events Coordinator

  • Organized and planned meetings and club events including design challenges and fundraisers.
  • Illustrated and created all marketing materials, such as posters and social media posts to promote various club events
  • Communicated with industry professionals within relevant fields to organize Skype and in person seminars for students to attend.
